Why won't R Reg Fiesta Automatic start when the battery OK Immobiliser recognizes key code all ignition lights come on engine does not even try to fire when ignition turned on and starter cranked?

Is the engine flooded? sometimes if the car has been started then stopped within a few minutes the engine can flood. Hold throttle to the floor and crank, it may fire up after a while. Other than that, there could be a multitude of reasons a car will crank but not start. Is there spark? Is there fuel? Is there compression? Are plugs, leads, cap, rotor arm, coil, fuel pump even a tripped inertia switch the problem. Need more info to help you.
