Sounds like you have lost the body ground. Try running a wire from your negative battery pole to the metal radiator housing or a bolt on the firewall or fender.

Sounds to me like your alternator is going out. That's what it was when mine did it, go to O'Reilly's or Autozone and get them to check it.
