No, you can not. Game Center supports only Cocoa apps that are on the Mac App Store. Minecraft is not on the Mac App Store and is written in Java. Unless there is some way to link Cocoa and Java, Minecraft can not connect to the Game Center.
Maybe because you cannot connect Xbox 360 (Microsoft product) to a Mac (Apple product).
either you don't have An internet connection or you have a cracked account on minecraft and it wont let you on. The alternative to this is their minecraft server was having issues.

I had the cracked version once. I fixed it by deleting it, and them and then purchasing minecraft again until you pay. Then the real version will download, but the cracked wont

yes....however make sure that you download the version for mac and it should be a .zip file or a .dmg file. if it is .exe, then it is a windows file and wont work
You have to start 'Sharing' in System Preferences on your Mac if you want your PC to be able to connect to Mac. Then in XP, go to My Network Places and workgroup and find the shared files on the Mac.
