Ever thought it might not be the right button?
If your Volvo s40 radio is always off, you can turn it on using the power button. The button is on the left, top-hand side.

For the PS3, just press down the directional button to the left, and the radio should turn off.

To turn off mute on a Mercedes CLK 320 radio, locate the "MUTE" button on the radio or steering wheel controls. Press the button once to unmute the audio.
