Why won't my skill points go up after i get the right box at school on my tamagotchi?

well...maybe your points are too high and at max already..... not all of your points will go up just on category depending wat teacher you got.

Skill points are the lil pencil and you get them by playing games. When your tama is a child you get a letter and can go to school, if you go with the turtle teacher you get taught by him. Then- you go into the little heart menu and on work and it takes you to school, you can then try and find the lil pencil in the boxes to win 3/4 skill points.
