When speaking about iPod Touches, 'passcode' and 'password' are two synonyms for the same meaning. 'Passcode' is used more often, though.
if you can remember your password, type it in, and go to settings. Go into general, then passcode lock, then, if you want to get rid of your password and wish to have passcode lock of, then press the "Turn Passcode Off" button. You will have to type in your current password though. if you wish to change your passcode, then simply press the "Change Password" button, and type your desired passcode! that's it!
settings-general-passcode-set your passcode(it can be a 4-number passcode or a letter one--to get a letter one, turn off the simple passcode)
slide an put you passcode in
you need to know the actual passcode... settings/general/passcode lock
i don't think you can.
If you mean passcode (safety lock, asks for code on wake up):go to Settings on the Home Screen> General> Passcode Lock> (enter your passcode)> Turn Passcode Off> (enter your passcode again)
Unfortunately, the only way to bypass a passcode is to restore.
Right, This was happening to me all night so I just blew into the speaker things (where the USB goes into) It should then start flickering and then it will go back onto the passcode screen, then you should be able to type your pass in :)
You would have to reset your i touch by connecting to the computer, going to iTunes, then completely reset it.
you can restore the whole ipod
Go to Settings - General - Passcode Lock.
