If your 2004 Saturn has a window that won't roll up, this could be due to something blocking the window. It could also mean that your electrical system is damaged.
I have this same Saturn. The driver's side rear window failed several years ago. The passenger's side failed tonight. Without taking the door apart to look it SEEMS like the window has simply separated from the track. Perhaps there is a pin or clip that comes of?? If you help the window up manually and roll it up at the same time you can get it to lock into the up possition. I am hoping someone else will have a more complete answer.
Probably need to replace the window regulator.
First thing I would check is the fuse panel. Usually located under the dash.
More than likely the piece of metal holding the gears aligned is bent. You can remove the outer panel and hammer the metal piece back in place.
Window motor
Depending on the year, i have a 96 and theres a 4-way button on the center of my consol below my window switches. If you don't have power locks, windows, Ect. there should be a knob on the passenger door and you move it in the direction you want the mirror, if not, roll down the window and just lightly push on it until you have it in the proper spot.
Because it hates you!
Window lock switch is out change the master switch.
I wouls suspect the passenger side switch is defective. Salvage yard is a good source for this part.
if it's not electric it probably fell off the track
undo the bolts that atatch the roll bars to the window on drivers and passenger side, the undo the bolts on lower window that hold the window to the tub on both passenger and drivers side. the window should now fold outwords onto the hood, once it is on the hood the wiper motor will on the drivers side window frame. remember to disconect the battery before any of the steps
