It was a business decision most likely based on the cost of trying to make a PS2 version of the game with less capabilities that the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions. WWE 12 is not Smackdown vs Raw so it is a new game series release. It is not news that the PS2 continues to lose game developers and WWE12 is just one more not being released in a PS2 version

You must mean why it is not on Playstation 2. Because the game is new and they did not make a PS2 version this time around. Previously they just had to update the SVR each year for the PS2. Creating a new PS2 game would have cost them more money and they might not have been able to make the PS2 version as likable with it older game console technology
