bad fuel pump, dirty injectors, vacuum leak
The egr valve is on the passenger side of the throttlebody, after you remove the air cleaner, alittle towards the firewall.
No the 2.8 has a Throttlebody fuel injected motor. The Throttlebody does look like a carburator, but it does have injectors.
it is located under the throttlebody just follow the upper radiator hose
Replace the engine coolant temp sensor, the one near the thermostat housing.
BROKEN CRUISE CONTROL CABLE (CHECK AT THROTTLEBODY AND FOLLOW TO TRANSMISSION)
the fuel tank vent is plugged.
There may be but in most cases the throttle body sticks from carbon deposits built up. Try spraying throttle body cleaner down the throat and around the throttle butterfly.
A 2001 Chevy Blazer does not have a carb. It is fuel injected and has a throttlebody. If the fuses and relays check okay and the fuel filter has been replaced, I would suspect the fuel pump has failed.
well lets see in 1987 Chevrolet swtiched to throttlebody injection so the timing is computer controlled. So factory has no recommended adjustments.
First just by listening. Another good way is to use throttle body spray cleaner. Start spraying it around the hoses, connections, intake gasket etc. Any change in idle would indicate a vacuum leak.
You could swap out the air cleaner assembly for a K&N air filter assembly.
The 2002 Chevy Cavalier 02 sensor can be found attached to the air cleaner housing. The O2 sensor will be on the back side of the air cleaner housing.
