I dont know about the toyotas, but allot of vehicle have what is called an inertia switch that kill all power to fuel pump in case of accident. You need to call the dealer to see if inturn they do, find the location and check it out. Because some of them have a button that is resestable. if not buy a new one.
I'd check things like your battery connections, spark plug wires, and your distributor if you've got one. It's likely something electrical.
try hot start relay kit. it worked for me. eBay got it for 24 bucks and its easy to install.
there are tons of people with this problem that got a lot of money from Toyota for this problem. Its called tacoma buyback program. look into it, i got 11,100 $ for a truck i pai 5500$ for.
Some one got lazy and did not change them all. Or chose not too do the hard ones.
i used to have one of these however I upgraded but before doing so I did have to replace the clutch as my lil bro wore mine out I tried a clutch from a rotary Honda that didnt even fit in however I got in touch with Toyota and they sent me a clutch from a 1998 Toyota tacoma 4x4 it worked until it broke and I needed a new one
start at your battery check to make sure its still got some life then check the battery cables and after that go to the alternator if it isn't any of that then check the wires.
