well if you mean when its off, you must engage the Hydrostatic dump valve lever.
The hydraulic dump valve is located on the frame cover.
the dump valve disconnects the transmission from the pump so the unit can be pushed without running. to engage the dump valve (making the tractor free-wheeling), push the lever forward and hold in this position.\
