Why won't Maplestory work?

Make sure you download the full client, other-wise it will not work, and make sure your virus-protecter is on and you trust the maplestory client.

well here it is:

at the bottom left of your screen, press start.

Then at the right side, theirs a "thing" called Computer

press it, and their will be a pop-up that has files C: and D:

Go to C: and click on your nexon folder

Click maplestory folder and then click GameLauncer (has the maplestory mushroom picture as an icon)

Another pop-up will show up saying [Go to Website] or [start game]

Press [Start Game] and it SHOULD work. Im working on windows Vista for your info XD GL~!

1) try turning off ur firewall setting. the firewall may have blocked it.

2) make sure u have all the required settings

3) if ur playing mapleglobal, then only certain country can use it. users from Korea, Japan,hk,and something else will be blocked from the game. that means you will need to download the correct version. eg. Korean maple.

4) there are lots more reasons and u can check it up on the maplestory site

Maplestory may not start up because of your firewall settings or the must delete all the stuff in your hackshield file if that doesnt work you probably have windows vista on windows vista you must run it on administator glad i could help

You are probably not downloading the right version of it. I can tell you which version to get if you listed where you live. North America? Europe?

It is probably your computers fault.

There probably is a virus or something.

maybe the sever is busy, or they added a new job (aran,eran,etc.,) and you have to restall it.
