My Dell computer will not do anythingIf you press the brightness buttons it says in sleep mode move mouse or press button on keyboard but that doesnt workAny Suggestions?
If it is stuck in sleep mode just restart the computer by pressing the power button for 5-10 seconds. Then when the computer starts up make sure to go to your power options in control panel and disable all the sleep options. This wont fix the sleep problem but will prevent your computer from going into sleep in the first place. Commonly sleep issues occur when there is a program running that doesn't agree with being put in sleep mode and causes windows to crash.

Run your anti-virus program while the computer is in safe mode - Safe mode only loads the bare minimum programs in order for the computer to start up. This usually means any virus present wont start running either. Once the virus has been removed or isolated, you can start your computer in normal mode.
