Tell her the truth. I couldn't date until I was 16 and I made a deal with my parents that they would let me "go out" with a person I liked if they drove my "date" and I to the movies or dinner. I got to "go out", see my date, and made my parents happy. There are ways to do this if you think in creative ways.
