Could possibly a solenoid on the starter going bad. Could possibly a solenoid on the starter going bad. Could possibly a solenoid on the starter going bad.
try the starter relay.
This could be a bad ignition switch, ignition relay, or ignition fuse.
Toyota previa starter motor wont engage
starter is out, motor is locked up or your starter solenoid is out.
It depends... by Seize do you mean that the engine is locked up and wont turn at all. It could be a starter failure as if the starter went out or the Starter Solenoid causing the starter not to work or engage and by it not working or engaging it wont turn the engine over to start the vehicle... if it is turning over you have to check to see if your receiving fuel, then if you are, check for spark.
Check your battery
check your wiring, if all your wiring is good then test your ignition relay, if its not the starter, not the battery, and not the wiring there's only one thing left. Good Luck with the repair
If the battery is good and the starter is good, then you must have a wire disconnected somewhere.
I have a 1997 grand am and i have power to the starter but when i turn the key over it wont in gauge the starter. all fuses are good. You may have a defective ignition switch.
its either the starter or your ignition
What do you mean it wont do anything... will the engine turn over... is the battery good... if the battery good and the engine wont turn over as if its not receiving power to the starter then it might be a bad starter or bad starter solenoid.
The starter relay, solenoid or starter itself most likely is bad. If you hear clicking from the starter when you turn the key, then the starter is most likely the cause.
