It is a 2007 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition. The moon roof is stuck in the tilted position.
"I have a 2003 Ford Explorer, the original owner. When it rains, the passenger side carpeting gets soaked. What causes this? I do have a moon roof."
I have a 2000 expo and my moon roof is also messed up. Not sure whats wrong with it but it sounds like something is broke in there.
The wiring diagram for a 1998 Ford Explorer XLT can be found in the service manual provided by the manufacturer. If the power windows, moon roof fuses, and power relays are good but the windows and moonroof do not work, then it is likely a wiring problem
In the fuse panel under the driver side of the dash : Fuse # 2 is a 20 amp fuse for the moonroof According to the 2005 Ford Explorer Owner Guide
On a 1998 Ford Explorer : In the Power Distribution Box ( which is " live " ) located in the engine compartment ( maxi fuse # 4 is a 30 amp maxi fuse for the power seat , power windows , and power moon roof )

They are in the 4 corners of the tray...inside/under the roof. NAD
Under the steering column, by the brake petal, the 2nd fuse box is located there. This contains the fuse for the moon roof.
