The supercharge is ran by a belt off of the engine. Broken belt or nose snout coupling on the supercharger.
Either your transmission is in gear or locked up, kick starter assembly has become dislodged in the case, your clutch is incredibly out of whack, or your engine is locked up.
it can be replaced, but you wont be able to find it

there is a fuse dedicated to the running lights on the 96 Thunderbird. Check your fuse panel under the dashboard for the proper fuse and check to see if it is blown.

1990-1993 models: Hold Compression release in. Kick 5-6 times NO throttle. Then, still holding compression release, kick 5-6 times FULL throttle. Let off Compression release and slowly kick until it pops out, return to top of kick stroke and kick full. Starts mine the first time every time!
no it wont work ur 1996 thunderbird has a 4r70w aode trans which is an electronic trans, the 85 crown vic aod trans is not electronic it will probably bolt up... but not much else
