because he doesnt want to and you get to close to the bowl
I assume that you intended to ask why your male betta isn't blowing a bubble nest. Male bettas blow bubble nests when they are happy and ready to mate. some build them easier than others, some wont even build one until they see the female or even until they are actually fertilizing the eggs. To encourage your betta to build a bubble nest, be sure he has enough room (at least 2.5 gallons) not a lot of surface motion on the water, make sure the water is at least 78*. You can also let your betta flare at his reflection by putting a mirror up against the glass. this is good exercise and may kick start his territorial instincts and encourage the building of a bubble nest.
no they will not but they will breed and then the male gets very protective over fry(eggs) so provide a hide for the female like a shelter so the male wont eat her. btw u can keep as many females a tank as u wont its the males u want to be worried about. Brian C
== == you can't put to malebettas in the same tank together because they are Territorial fish and they will fight until one badly injured or dead. But you may be able to buy a divider for your to keep to bettas.
It could destroy the earth, if it was a super flare. The next solar flare is in 2011 or 2012, but it wont harm the earth. It will mess up radios tough.
eat it yourself
its usually because its a new fish, but after a while they should go a bit closer to each other, but if he starts to follow her than hes hoping they can breed together but if she doesn't want to than he will kill her, and if she does, well baby beta fish for you!
my betta bowl has sea glass which is really dull glass so it wont cut itself
it takes about 8 or 6 months for them to grow. each month they will get biger and look diffrenter. if you have more then one you should still not put them in the same tank. and if they both look the same and you dont like dont worry becuse they change as they grow.it could probaly come in one of thees colors purple witch is very rare to get your betta fish in. orange green blue red yellow white and maybe even silver HAPPY BETTA CAREING!
The white fins wont be moving and they will be at the bottom of the tank
Even though Betta's are seen housed in small tanks you should house your Betta in a minimum 2 gallon tank or a 5 gallon tank, while 10 gallon tanks are preferred. They do not like water movement so you do not have to have a filter, if you do it should have barely any movement, bettas are not built to swim against a current. Never house a betta in one of those set ups where there is a plant in the vase as they can not survive on that as food. Always keep your male Betta out of a tank that already has a male Betta as they will fight with another betta (to the death if unchecked) the male will chase the females if under age and try to fight them. However if a female Betta is fully grown, the male will chase her to mate. Make sure you have a few items in the tank, a fake plant or decoration where they can hide and have some privacy. Females can be grouped in groups of 4-8 depending on how many gallons of water you have to spare. Males can only shave a tank if they have a barrier of some sort or separators, which can be bought rather cheap and most any pet store.
Well, if there are any other fish in the aquarium except for the female there is still no chance that the female wont eat some of them. You could separate the male if you wanted but it is good for the baby fish to have a male to protect them, although it still might eat them. It is good if you have a large plant for the baby fish to hide in when the eggs hatch.
It could be its not hungry try feeding it something else small enough .Tept it to eat
