You have a loose wire, blown fuse or a faulty horn.
Horn relay in engine compartment by the PCM
My Horn on my 1995 Oldsmobile Achiva does not work. How do I get it to work?
check your fuses
Start by checking the fuse.
We have a 1995 Miata and the horn stops working from time to time. If you lift the hood, right in front of the radiator, the horn plugs in. I just re plug it when it happens. I hope this is what your miata is doing.
Sounds like the horn has a bad connection. I would replace the horn switch in the steering wheel.
my 1999 Harley Davidson Electra glide's blinkers and horn dosent work after I took off the front fairing and put it back on. could i have missed a connector and if I did. Which one?
well, check all the fuses and check the horn relay if not work. if horn relay sound but horn not working, then you will have to check the clock spring for loose connection or tighting it.you can even look for bad wiring connection to the horn system.
A horn might not work on a 1996 Honda Accord because of a blown fuse. There is also the possibility that the wire was cut or damaged. The horn is part of the security system. A used car might have the horn wire cut because the previous owner was annoyed by the horn blaring when someone came near the car.
Your problem is a fuse in the engine compartment nearest to the front, its a plastic black box. The fuses are for AC fans and the horn and some others in there.
The 1995 engine is fully electronic, while the 1991 engine is primarily mechanical.
When the horn on an older car does not work, there are usually one of two possible issues. The first is a blown fuse. The second is a short circuit or a break in the now brittle wiring.
