The Nexus 7 supports the following video formats out-of-the- box: H263/264 AVC, MPEG-4, VP8. With other formats such as AVI, MKV, WMV, etc, there are apps out there (Video Player, MX Player, QQPlayer, etc.) that you can use to play these other formats. Or, you can also get a video in one of those formats and with a video converter program (Windows or Mac based), iand convert them to a supported video format, then upload it into the device.

Some videos are not the correct screen size format for the psp go. I have one also and have noticed that some .mp4 files will not play because of the screen size. I noticed that some videos that are meant for ipod work with the psp go. Hope this helps.

Wax is limited to certain video types, try converting your videos to avi and it should work, but still there's a chance that wax will kill your audio file. If i was you I'd try Adobe After Effects.
