Your refrigeration service people will be able to fix that. It possibly has a slow leak.
A less likely possibility is that it has too muchrefrigerant in the system, and the pressure gradient over the system is too low for effective cooling.

If you have a 1998 or newer it could be a fuse in the power distribution center under the hood. The whole trailer light system is fused through there.
only 3 reasons a temp gauge wont work the temp sender is bad the gauge is bad or the wire from temp sender to gauge is broken
If the temp gauge no longer works then either the gauge itself has failed, the sending unit has failed, or there is a problem in the circuitry.
