A bearded dragon may not be eating for several reasons. If you feed your beardie the same thing every day, he/she may get tired of the food and simply stop eating. Other cases may be more serious. Such as the fact that they did not swallow a bite of food all the way before taking another bite. The food gets stuck in the throat or beard until completely digested or removed. One more very serious case completely depends on the type of bedding you use. If you use Vita Sand or Repti Sand or other beddings like these, you may have a very serious problem. Sands found in pet stores are very dangerous to bearded dragons. In fact it's safer to use play sand. (Not at all suggesting that you should.) These sands are not digestible, and beardies tend to inadvertently eat it. It just sits in their stomach. The more they eat, the less often they feel hungry. In this proses it is starving itself. You must attend to this very serious matter immediately! You must give your beardie a warm bath every day, while doing this, you should give them warm drinks of apple cider or Prune Juice. Papaya is a good fruit to try to get them to eat during this time of need. Hopefully, after a time your beardie will poop after a bath or a warm drink. Do not be alarmed if it is extremely sandy and dry. It may also have a very foul smell. Continue giving baths and drinks until normal eating, drinking, and pooping habits restart. Remember: When giving a bath, do not allow the water to get near the ear. If your beardie does not return to normal after all the treatments and change of substrate within three weeks, Take him/her to a veterinarian right away. Do not give up!
May your beardie have a happy, safe, and long life!

There are a number of factors to consider:
Is it a 'new' arrival - it may be stressed by moving to a new home - it should start eating once it's settled.
Are you offering the correct food.
Is the vivarium the right size for the lizard.
Are you maintaining the correct living conditions (light, heat, humidity, substrate etc)
IF you are in any doubt after considering all of the above - take it to your local vet for a health check. Take a fresh stool sample with you for analysis - to rule out parasites etc.
The MAIN culprit - is temperature ! If the enclosure isn't warm enough, the reptile cannot digest its food. In which case it will not eat.
because its a water dragon its drinks water
