I had the same issue with mine...it was the crank/fuel sensor...cost - 50.00 for part
I had the same problem and found out it was the crank shaft sensor!
try the crank/fuel sensor...
IF TURNING OVER BUT NO START TRY CRANK SENSOR There is no spartk.
my 98 Lincoln had the same problem and i replaced the battery the car turns over fine now. good luck
turn the key the motor turns over but will not start
I can't say for certain but I think that year has a crank sensor which could be bad also it could be a fuel problem or even an ignition problem
It is the crank positioning sensor.
A faulty fuel relay can cause a 1999 Lincoln continental to stall. If the relay is not properly reading the fuel it will turn the car off.
It isprobably not getting fuel or not getting spark.
I have the same problem i say its too old im throwing it away
It means check your transmission, why not start with the oil.
check your fuel line.... and u might look at the oil and air filter too.
