Why would Exes act a bit more different after they break up?

No matter who you are or what you guys do, the friendship/ relationship you have with your ex will ALWAYS be different. You guys took the next step and tried out a relationship. It didn't work out, but you guys wanna be friends right? Well, at first it's going to be really hard, especially if your ex is the kind to ignore you or to be REALLY shy about the situation. Give him/ her time to think about what happened in the relationship and also give them time to hang with their friends and just have a guy/ girl talk with them. Eventually they'll come around to you and you guys will hopefully be back to the good friends you guys were before you started dating. Maybe even after that you'll try it out again;)

Why do gay men insist on being friends with their exes?
Not all gay men insist on being friends with their exes, but those that do seem to be more effeminate and prefer them as a girlfriend or a best friend. They are fighting the fact they are gay and not suited for the opposite sex. If both parties are gay, then it is no different that heterosexual's having a relationship, splitting up and some exes prefer to be friends (one may disagree.) They can't quite let go of the good times they once had and not ready to move on.
Why does he constantly tell you about other women wanting him and girls looking at him and how nice his exes were built?
He wants you to notice more about him, as the 'ex's' did in the past. He needs more attention from you! Or he is trying to find a way to point out that he isn't interested and maybe this way you'll become uninterested and then he won't have to make the move on a break-up!

a sandstone would break more easily because a quartzite is harder. a quartzite is made of sandstone melted together by magma

The water in the cell(s) would freeze and expand causing it to break because there would be no more room to hold the frozen water.

Podiums can be made of a multitude of different materials. Glass podiums would more easily break than other types of materials and thus could be more dangerous.
