Because robots are much easier too keep operational under harsh condition and It Saves NASA Alot Of Money For Other Inportant things That They Need. Humans Wouldn't Because They Wouldn't be able to survive that long through the harsh conditions. It would also cost NASA lots of money when they can spend it on a lot of other important things they need as well
