There are several things that can cause your 1989 Honda Accord to stall on acceleration. The most common cause is a plugged or dirty air filter.
weak fuel pump.
The primary cause of a 1994 Honda Accord to stall when the gas is low is water or contaminants in the gas tank. When the gas level is low, the fuel pickup will pull contaminants that would otherwise be floating well away from the inlet.
There is a recall for the starter switch. The contacts become worn, and the car can stall randomly.
Change the wires, rotor and cap.
yes but why?.......
Just fixed this, was a loose vacuum line next to intake
yes, as long as the 1992 accord is also an automatic
Couldbe alots of thing. My surjusticing is to go and get your self. A book on your car and a limmactdic your problem step by step
Some where ~200 hp with a mass of 1200-1400 kg, so they probably would compare to today's Honda Accord 3.0L in terms of acceleration.
Are you planning to convert your Accord to RWD? The S2000 has a longitudinal motor. The Accord has a transverse motor. It would not be easy.
550.00 @ Honda of Annapolis. Having the same problem with my 92 Accord.
The Honda Accord would be faster with air shocks and the engine that runs like a babe. :-)
