The Honda Shadow carburettor adjustment will be done through the setting of the pilot screws. You would also need to do synchronization so as to compete the adjustment.Ê
I have a 1986 Honda VT700 Shadow and it uses 10W 40 for most temperature climates. I would think that an '85 would take the same. Hope this helps
Dirty carbs!
Quite possibly, but why would you bother? The power difference is minimal.
will 750 shadow pipes fit 1300 vtx
I dont think Honda's have a set number of miles before they fail. I suppose it would also depend on what make of Honda you were interested in. I had an Accord that lasted 275,000 miles. Then I had one the lasted 135,000.
87 octane would be the minimum but 91 would be more ideal.
Bad ignition coil? Bad fuel pump?
I would recommend going to your local Honda dealer or getting on online parts stores and looking for simple chain lube
