The battery voltage is not high enough to start the car. The clicking is the solenoid trying to get enough power to activate the started motor. Try leaving the cables connected longer or try to get a better connection on the cables.
Not enough power to starter, jump it and then ensure alternator is good. Also check battery condition.
Cables backwards.
battery is charged ,but still have to jump start it
that's what i'm trying to figure out!
Likely low battery- the click is the starter solenoid trying to pull in, but not enough current to turn the starter motor. If it will start with a jump, either battery or charging system needs attention.
probably a flat battery, but could be the starter motor has died.try jump starting it.
You could, but using the jump start posts under the hood would be easier.
why were there sparks when cabels were hooked up when trying to jump start car is it safe to try and jump start car again
Easy take it into a car shop like Crossroads..
To start click on your pet and to run keep clicking where you want your pet to run, If you want to jump click on you pet
If you flipped the wires you may have damaged your rectifier. But I would start by checking for blown fuses and burnt wires. Good luck.
Cuz he was trying to be COOL!
