the return spring is weak.
Poor tire alignment.
you would spin in a circle
The purpose of an accelerator is the car is to give the engine gas so the car will move.
The function of an accelerator in a car is to increase the speed of the car. When the accelerator is pressed, the car gains speed because an increased amount of fuel is added to the motor's consumption.
The accelerator pedal on a left hand drive automobile is located on the same side of the car as the steering wheel also known as the driver position and on the floor with the other pedal or pedals. When only two pedals are present as in the case of an automatic transmission car the brake pedal is to the left of the accelerator pedal. In the case of a manual transmission auto the three pedals in order from left to right are; clutch, brake, accelerator.
It is the accelerator pedal.
Broken or disconnected accelerator cable? Severly plugged air/fuel filter? Plugged catalytic converter?
You would apply force to the accelerator to make the car go faster.
The car would pull to the left.
To adjust the cable, pull up the cable release at the rear of the throtle body and move the cable all the way to the rear, Then get inside the car and mash the accelerator all the way to the floor. This should adjust it.
sounds to me like a fuel pump if the engine continued to run but accelerator did not work then check for broken or disconnected accelerator cable both at the pedal and the throttle plate
It is probly your transmission.
