ignition module bad shorting out when hot
crank sensor is bad... when it gets warmed up... it'll send bad data to the spark device and will stall out
cam position sensor has failed
ECM
yes, that could be a cause. Along with fuel pump, crank sensor,....
you need to check your glow plug relay it is most likely going out you can jumper it to see if the glow plug light will come back on to start engine
blown head gasket
The Oxygen sensor, or the IAT Sensor is telling you Ecu to shut down the car. Its running to hot. Or you have a pressure hose that has a leak or has come off.
Does it stall when first started or ONLY once the car has warmed up ? After it stalls will it start right up again ? or does the car need to cool down before it will restart ?
What year is it? it could be the coil, the coil will break down when it gets hot. And then be Ok after it cools off.
if it was cold then ur engine wasnt warmed up that is one reason. or it was to hot out and ur radiator isn't working properly and it overheate. did it start after a while??
If water comes out after the car is totally warmed up, it has a blown head gasket. Most cars spit water on start up due to condensation in the exhaust after you shut the motor off and it sits and cools.
First, check the fuel filter. It could be letting just enough fuel through to start you going but not keep you going. Has you're catalytic converter ever been replaced? As they get warmed up they can shut down the exhaust system. How about your coil. When it gets warmed up it can stop working.
