Could be a bad connection to fuel pump. Many fuel pump replacements recommend a new wiring harness for pump. Also, some aftermarket pumps have a different plug from original and require a re-wire. An old plug on new pump may have shorting issues. Make sure pump works constantly when running, and does not intermittently shut off. Should have steady hum from pump.

check ur lines and see if they are kinked or broken Also check the fuel pump fuse and fuel pump relay.
The battery is what keeps the electronic and lights on, the engine is probabally dying because of a shortage in fuel, the pump couldn't be workin, the filter could be plugged, or the line could be kinked
You can start on either end - carb or fuel tank. Look for: Stuck float in the carb Stuck needle and seat in the carb Fuel pump not working Fuel line kinked, broken, or plugged Fuel tank pickup blocked or broken off Not enough gas in the tank Unscrew the clamp holding the glass bowl to the fuel filter (under the engine), clean out filter and replace it, checking the seal is good
