When you try to start the engine and only get a single click on occasions, that is a sign the starter relay/solenoid is going bad.
If you get a single "Click" the first time Check for dirty or loose battery terminals, check wires on solenoid, or replace solenoid
I had a camoro that did the same thing, after awhile it did not start at all, would turn over great but not start. it turned out to be the ignition module.
Low battery, bad connection or starter.
I had the same problem in an old Chevrolet, and it turned out to be a short in the battery. Check it out.
You click on Snoopy and he'll start to blow.
Click on the person hosting each challenge.
Could be the ignition switch, the starter, a faulty wire, the battery...
Mine would cut out while driving, then start right back up, at first. Then got to where it would cut out while on, maybe not start for days, or maybe just not start in the first place for days at a time. There was nothing, no electrical...sometimes just a click. Everyone else thought it was the fuel pump, but I had had that happen before and this was different....turned out to be the control module.
