air intake more than fuel needs reconfiguration
you will have to buy a different transmission.
No! You can replace it with a manual, but an A/T cannot be converted.
turn wheels towards curb ( if parked on hill facing downward) turn wheels away from curb (if parked on hill rear facing downward) place gearshift lever in "P" Park if automatic transmission place gearshift lever in Reverse is std. transmission set parking brake turn ignition off remove key
A fully manual valve body in an automatic will need to be shifted manually ( no clutch ) May not be available for your application .
well you can do you turn the car off after or do you just do it at stop lights? If you put it in neutral at stop lights and signes and then put in gear to drive it add wear to your transmision. Just leave it in drive when driveing.
Yes and no. A manual transmission uses less HP to turn the wheels than an automatic but you have to be able to drive it well to make up for the ease of an automatic. If you can half way drive a manual the answer is usually yes.
bulb burned out; fuse/circuit breaker open
With the engine running , if you are in A4WD ( automatic 4 Wheel Drive ) or 4 H , just turn the selector dial to 2 H . If you are in 4 L , with the engine running and the Expedition stopped with your foot on the brake pedal , shift the transmission to NEUTRAL , then turn the selector dial to 2 H , then put the transmission in gear or park
IT's low on transmission fluid. CHECK FLUID LEVEL.
No but, be sure it has come to a complete stop before you put it in park.
Sure you can. It is much easier to turn a manual to an automatic than it is to change an automatic into a manual. the easiest way would be to pick up a hurst shifter. You can get one at just about any performance store. It would bolt on right where the shifter is right now. you would also need an automatic transmission, those trucks came with a 700R4 if I'm not mistaken. If you need anymore info, just ask.
The transmission filter is on the drivers side of the car on the front of the transmission. You may need to remove the air cleaner to get a good turn on it. Good luck. --------------------------------- Automatic tranny has a filter. Manual tranny does not
