You could have clogged fuel injectors or the timimg chain could have jumped
start with dist cap and rotor
could be a number of things first off i would try spraying some kind of carb cleaner into the throttle body and see if it will start off of that if it does then its a fuel issue and would check your fuel pump and fuel filter if that's not it next i would check your distributor and spark plugs/wires
check fuel filter, air filter, and spark. if that's ok start looking at sensors for a better answer, would need more info
if u dont have a check engine light then i would try fuel filter
Low fuel in the tank, clogged fuel filter, malfunctioning fuel pump, defective electrical connection, spark plugs or spark plug wires could be faulty. Check your battery.
I would check the fuel pressure first. It could be a clogged fuel filter, or bad fuel pump.
no i do not think that it could be the fuel filter, because the filter would choak the fuel compleatly out or mak it run like it is running out of fuel. the filter could be located under the body on the frame possible under the cab. possible spark plugs, or coil/distributor and could there be a leak in the vacuume system?
Try changing transmission fluid and filter
The fuel filter is not servicable. You would replace it with a new one.
Fuel filter and fuel pump needs to be replaced.
Probably the spark plug or spark plug wires, I would try that first.
Need to know if your getting spark at the plugs. Next if you are I would look at either timing, or fuel delivery problem, IE fuel pump, filter, ect. If not getting spark take coil wire off and see if you are getting spark there.
