# Time- saves time making the product from scratch. eg buying a Pizza base (pre standard component) saves time making the dough # Quality all the same- If buying somthing pre made (pizza base, pastry case) the shape, thickness, size will all be the same as they are made by machinary on a large production line. No human error. # Less equipment is needed as your not making dough/ pastry as you are buying a pre manufactured product. Saves manager money. # Skill level lower- Manager can employ lower skilled workers as he is using pre made products. This also saves manager money as higher skilled workers generaly demand a higher wage. # Saves money- Buying pre made products in bulk saves alot of money and time as ingredients such as flour, eggs dont have to be brought. # Health/ Hygeine- standard components (pizza bases) made in a safer more hygenic environment then a kitchen. # Standard components can be brought at any time, any where as they are widely avaliable, production of them is continuous. Hope this helps, Dave
