Jealousy. Or they could simply be looking out for you. Just giving your friend the benefit of the doubt here. If your friend knows your boyfriend is a bad person or just thinks that he is not good for you or you would be better off then that could be a reason. If you have a really shallow friend then they could be jealous and try to break you guys up... Just don't jump to conclusions and make yourself loose a friend.
