Why would a guy say your name in front of your crush?

Probably because he wants your crush to notice you or because he likes you and wants to blow it for you and your crush. Something similar happened to me in the 3rd grade. My crush was sitting at a table opposite to mine and he was surronded by friends. I was talking to my friend and all of the sudden my name was blurted out from his table. Both my friend and I looked over and all of his friends and him were looking at me. It had been his friend who had said it and some of my crush's friends were laughing and smiling. A year later when he was in my class I asked him why his friend had yelled my name. He said he never remembered that happening, smiled slyly, and walked away. I realized it was because they were talking about me and it was something they were talking about made him uncomfortable. Hope my story and advice helps you and good luck!
