This usually happens to an already house trained dog out of separation anxiety when you leave. Find a book on Dog Training that includes a section on separation anxiety for the best advice.
It could be that you are leaving them alone too long and they just can't hold it. The younger and older dogs may have this problem more often since they do not have full bladder control.
It might be to mark the territory, it may feel like it is in charge when you are gone and it wants to let everyone know that the house belongs to it.
It will not be to "punish" you for leaving, they don't do naughty things in revenge.
They may need a house training refresher course with diligent attention to their bladder habits for a period. This may be needed due to a new scary thing or sound or other change in their environment that is unsettling to them and their routine.
There may have been thunder, a car backfire, fireworks or other loud sounds that scared them while you were gone. It may not have been a problem for them if you had been home to reassure them, but on their own it was just too much to handle. There are special coats for them that really help with this. One brand is called Thunder Shirts.
It may be that they need a medical check up to be sure there is no injury, infection or other medical condition that is causing it.
It could be anxiety. If the dog was never trained to behave while alone, it may be that he/she becomes upset or anxious while alone, and urinates as a result.
It could be that the dog is a very dominant dog, and urinates to "mark his/her territory." This may occur because he was not properly house trained, and instead of learning "don't pee in the house," he/she has learned "don't pee with the owner around."
First you will need to sand the floor and then restain it.
yes they do sometimes (dah)
Every time yer dog pees on the floor, pick her up or take her to the pee pad and lightly scold it when it doesn't go on the pee pad. If you take it to the pad everytime he does it on the floor, he will evevtually learn he has to go on the pee pad/
depends on how old. we put our 5 week old puppies in there cage so they don't pee in the house. depends on how old, and the behaiver of your dog.
Well,Check if the pee has blood in it.If that does, that means your dog might have a kidney stone.Sooner or later your dog might not be peing at all.Your dog cant help that she pees on the floor so don't scold it.Just let it outside about every 30 minutes.
with ice leave there for like and hour and half
Good question, maybe it is the drule from the dog or it can be cough up saliva that has turned into liqued after an sertant amount of time!
If your not going to be home just for a day you could put up a fence like just a plastic one so the dog doesnt roam through the house and leave plenty of water and food and leave pad for it to pee on but if your going to be gone for a long time you might consider letting someone take care of it or take it with you to wherever you are going
A lot of dogs like to pee, poop, or dig in gardens. Especially flowers. You should let them pee and poop outside but if i were you, i wouldn't let them in the garden.
fist of all my dog does not smell like pee and it is smell not small and if your dog smell like pee the peed on itself
it doesnt know is pee
IF it will not pee or poo, then it is not 100% - go back to the vet with it.
