They don't match. She is supposed to be a tiny dainty fairy, and he is a great galumphing working man. She is a queen; he is a weaver. She is incredibly beautiful and cultivated; he looks exactly like a donkey (and acts like one too). She speaks in beautiful blank verse and he talks in plain prose. The contrast is comical.
