Many straight men wear makeup and carry a murse (mans purse) today, it's not uncommon. But if the makeup and purse and anything else is more feminine he might be a cross dresser. Many men want to dress like women but don't find the courage until they get older. A cross dresser can be straight, gay or bi. This does not mean he doesn't love his wife or has changed.
