I am married and refuse to wear a wedding ring because after my wife had triplets should ballooned to 367 pounds and looks like a whale. Because marriage vows are like any other only as good as a person's word. There are a myriad of reasons why some would dishonor themselves and disrespect their vows, but most definitely want to appear single by not wearing one and are obviously not committed to the marriage completely for unknown reasons. They could be embarrassed by their partner, married too young, feel trapped, dissatisfied with communication, etc. You will have to investigate why they are not fully committed based on their actions etc. Counseling if you have a lot of time invested might be a good idea.
Contrary to the above, pleasing a woman is not rocket science and you don't need 11 inches to find a clitoris. Sex without love is just a notch or 2 above masturbation and if all women seem to love you, you don't know what it is. You are also not beautiful in any way that matters if you are that preoccupied with your genitalia.

I don't think that there is a rule against it, but it is not common. Wearing a wedding ring generally means you are married, so it would be misleading to wear it if you have not yet had the ceremony. As for the engagement ring, many woman will only wear it until they are actually married, at which time they change to the wedding ring. But some women like their engagement ring so much that they wear both the wedding ring and the engagement ring together even after they are married.
