a child custody lawyer is the same thing as a child advocate lawyer sort of. they are just children lawyers that fight for the child that is involved in an issue. so you have to get your degree in child advocate lawyer but you have to major in something, the best thing to major in would be social work or phycology.
In order to become an investment fraud lawyer you need to become a lawyer who then specialises on the said field. In order to work as a lawyer you generally need a university degree in law and - depending on which country you chose to work in - possibly also acceptance into the bar association or a similar guild-like structure of advocates.
If your house is sold at auction, it is now the property of the buyer. You become like any other person who might want the house. A lawyer might be able to negotiate terms with the buyer, but it is more likely that your house is gone.

In my opinion the benefits would be that you are a goal-oriented person and would like to be in a position to help someone. Another benefit is that the pay is decent in most cases and fantastic in others.
University's like it if you do a language at GCSE, but you shouldn't need it to be a lawyer.
