Pythons are constrictors and do not use venom. Clean the punctures out with soap and water. People generally do not get infections from bites. The bites are not a big deal.

to get a ball python off of you while it is biting you.

since ball pythons teeth are in a hook shape, u cant just pull it off. you either take a swab or a dropper, put some alcohol in it, then rub it or drip it in the ball pythons mouth.

The ball python bite is quick and they puncture the skin easily because of their sharp teeth, so it leaves just a little blood and feels like a pin prick. Now if the ball python is in eating mode and you are bitten it will hold on and wrap it's self around you. At this point it becomes trying to figure out how to get the python to turn loose of you. Even with the python hanging on it still is not that painful.

Unlikely to happen - but the answer is - nothing. Royal pythons (to use their official name - from their Latin designation Python regius) are a non-venomous species.

How does a PYTHON protect itself from danger?

It depends on the species of python. for example the Python Molurus will attack if threatened and will fight to the death! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Python_molurus The Python Curtis Probably wouldn't defend it self, and because of this they can be used as pets. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Python_curtus But the most common way for a python to defend itself would be to lunge and bite. and even then it usually varies between species on whether it would, continue biting, hold on, or run away after.

Your ball python bit you is she in heat?

Its possible, I guess, but there are many reasons why a female snake could bite. Snake also bite when they are hungry and it is close to their feeding time. Most snakes also become more aggressive when they are about to shed. If your ball python's eyes are clouded over this means she is about to shed. Your snake could also have bit you simply because she got scared, or didnt't want to be handled at the time. Ball pythons can have ranodm mood swings sometimes.
