It is most likely out of Freon, if this is the case you need to have a A/C certified technician add more. If you are out of Freon ask the technician to check for leaks while their at it. Its a fairly cheap fix and they shouldn't charge extra for looking for leaks.
If this isn't the problem then it could be bad compressor, a blockage in the system, etc. No matter the problem A/C repairs by Law have to be done by a certified technician.
Good Luck.
On the air intake filter box
In the right kick panel. On my 98 Intrigue it's it the engine compartment in the black box connected to the air filter.
The AC control head is the control panel for the heater/air conditioning in the vehicle.
connected to the brake pump behind the air filter on the right side of the engine compartment
Olds intrigues have a habit of the heater/a.c. control head going bad. It will set you back about $600 to replace it.
thermostat may be stuck open so engine doesn't get hot enough to blow warm air. Had the same problem on a Taurus once
Under the glove box and air bag. Remove the airbag fuse and disconnect the battery before attempting to remove the blower motor.
It doesn't really blow it out it just warms the cold air.
The air filter is located on the driver's side. First you would need to remove the support brace that runs over the top of the air filter box. Then remove the clips that clamp the cover to the air filter box. Now you should be able to remove the air filter. An instructional video showing this process has also been added.
No. A blow dryer sucks in air, heat/cools it, then blows it back out again. Without atmosphere, there is no air, and without air, there is no blow dryer.
