It sounds like the brake system is not releasing, as if you kept your foot on the pedal. Check to see that the pedal is coming all the way up, and that the master cylinder isn't sticking and keeping the brakes on.

It indicates transmissions problems. Had this happen at 103,000 km on our 2002 Honday Odyssey and had to replace the entire transmission.
You would need to look it up in the owner manual.
