What is wrong with your 01 Neon when you start the car it does not turn on and all the power and gages turn off but the engin still clicks?

First of all is the lights working in the car? (over head lights or any kind of lights) If your not getting anything at all (no lights) then you should check the battery. If the lights are working then I would check your starter. Most of the time if you take the battery somewhere to get checked they will do it for free. So I would start there. Did you try to get a jump to see if that would start it? Hope this helped some.

Are tail lights and brake lights the same on a 1999 Nissan altima?

Tail lights and break lights are different things pretty much all the time. You see, tail lights run all the time the car is on and break lights only turn on when the break is pressed. If you would like to find out which lights are the breaklights, have a friend watch the back of the car, turn it on, push the breaks a few times and see which lights flash. The lights that flash are your break lights!

All your warning lights click on and off when you turn on the ignition switch?

If you are wondering why this happens, it is completely normal. When you turn your key all the way to start the car, all the warning lights will come on do perform a lamp test. Also, the computer runs a quick test on all the sensors in the car and on all the lights on the dash to make sure everything is operating properly, once you start the car, these lights should all go out. If there are lights remaining lit on your dash, it may mean that your car needs to be serviced, always get warning lights checked if they come on while the car is running. Hope this helps!

Why do all rear car lights come on when brake is pushed?

Headlights, interior lights stop working.checked all fuses. I would suspect the headlight switch and/or the electrical connection at the headlight switch is faulty.
