Why would atheist disagree with people converting to a religion?

Atheists do not have a position to agree or disagree with people converting to anything, it is the convertors own choice.
However some atheists would disagree with converting to a religion because they believe religion to be untrue and thus that converting someone would be to feed him or her untruths.
