Rivka was a little girl who had no parents or family with her, They all were exterminated in death and concentration camps. Rivka has been in the work camps for 1 year and she helps Chaya and her friends survive by giving them tips on what to do and not do. Without Rivka Chaya would have never survived.
They didnt call Hannah Chaya in the movie because they didn't want to confuse the watchers. It would take attention off the movie because the viewers would be trying to understand the concept of the changing name and they would lose attention.
Arithmetic.
Old enough to do the arithmetic yourself.
Yes but the progression would be a degenerate one.

If you are talking about Hannah herself, in 1942, it would be Chaya. However, according to the book, Hannah (Chaya) died with two girls, Shrife, and Esther.
I would suggest going to the “Literature” section of Answers, as “Devil’s Arithmetic” has nothing to do with basic arithmetic (I believe, for I have not read the book).
With english characters it would be: Rivkathe nick-name of Rivka is Rivkito write Rivka in its Hebrew form it is:רבקה

Of course Tasmanian devils breed. If they didn't, there would be no Tasmanian devils left today. Tasmanian devils are mammals, which are vertebrates. All vertebrates breed.
The male equivalent of Chaya (חייה) = Chayim (חיים)There is no male equivalent to Sarah (שרה), which means "princess". (In theory, it would be Sar (שר), but this is the Hebrew word for officer, and is not used as a name). If you go by meaning, a name meaning "prince" would be Zvulun (זבולון), so you could use:Chayim Zvulun (חיים זבולון)
DEVILS!! Its matter of opinion though. Ask a panthers fan they will tell you the panther. But if you really want to get technical i would have to go with the devils.
In "The Devil's Arithmetic," Hannah starts off as a disinterested girl who feels disconnected from her Jewish heritage. Through her experiences in the past during the Holocaust, she gains a deeper understanding and appreciation of her roots, becoming more empathetic and courageous in the face of adversity. She ultimately undergoes a transformation, learning the importance of remembering the past and honoring those who came before her.
uh... yes without a working memory you would not know (remember) how to do arithmetic
Arithmetic is just basic math. So I suppose math would be the other way.
It is not possible to place 8 arithmetic means between two numbers since they can have only one arithmetic mean not eight! The one-and-only arithmetic mean of 2 and 17 is (2+17)/2 = 9.5
