Would it be easier to build a colony on Saturn or on one of its moons?

It would be much more practical to build the colony on or in a moon. Saturn is one of the gas giants. That means it is a giant ball of gas. There is probably a solid surface near its core, but the pressure from the weight of all that gas is unimaginable.

What is a Lunar colony?

A lunar colony is when you live on the moon in a colony of people. A lunar colony is a colony on the moon. Note that there are at the present time no lunar colonies, and no prospects of any lunar colonies in the foreseeable future. Such a thing would be really expensive to create, and while it would be very scientifically interesting, it is not clear that it would be profitable.

What part of the moon would be a nice place for a moon city?

Nowhere, a colony on the moon would be disastrous. The moon is covered in a very fine, rocky, talcum-like dust which would clog machines, vehicles and breathing apparatuses. In order to build a colony, a great deal of digging is required - which is impossible on the moon. Digging in the dust would cause huge dust clouds that, due to the lack of gravity, would smother the surrounding area for hours. This would also cause poor vision. There is also an issue with space radiation and UV rays from the sun. The only reason we can survive on Earth is because our atmosphere protects us from space radiation and UV rays - the moon does not have an atmosphere, so humans would be exposed to deadly concentrations of radiation.

How long would it take for an adult to walk to the moon in minutes?

What would be an advantage of locating a moon colony in an area where ice deposits from impacting comets may have collected?

Here is what i found for my project on moon colony... 1. It provides more area for life and allows population to grow. 2. It advances our technology. 3. The northern part of the moon's surface is a prime area for growing things. This will allow a colony to grow food supplies to eat. By being able to do this a moon colony just may be possible in the future.
