A rough definition of intensity (how intense) a light is might be how bright (the brightness) the light is. Intensity speaks to the luminance or luminosity of the light source. Under that definition, either red or blue light could be more intense. it just depends on the shade of blue and purple. if it is a dark purple and a light blue, then the light blue would have a higher intensity. if you look at any shade, the one that is brighter has the higher intensity of the two.
